Some glues do stick to the tube such as Epoxy cause it glues everything although not very good at holding leather together. Leather tends to absorb epoxy. Most glue tubes are interior coated with a special resin coating! Because the coating is of resin it won't prevent epoxy from sticking but is great for most glues!

because there isn't that much oxygen for the glue to go dry and stick so its in the tube where it doesn't stick because it stays moisted and it doesn't stick.

It will if it is allowed some air to get to it... leave the cap off for a few weeks, and see what happens.

i've always wondered that, i think there's some coating on the inside of the bottle that prevents it from sticking.
if you find out for sure, let me know. :]
