I am due to get married in April. I found out my fiance took another girl on a trip, while we were dating. I found out he visited her after he asked me to marry him. I found out through his emails, that nothing sexual happened, mostly I believe because she was refusing him. Never did he say he loved her, but spent alot of money on her with a trip and gifts. After I caught him, he beg forgiveness and wants to still marry. I want to believe him. I offered my friendship and to move on if he wants this other girl and he insist he loves me and only me. He insist he wants to marry and have children. Why would a guy do this? Should I try again?

Well this is a bit dificult,because the bible sais to forget,and to forgive,but it also sattes that having a relationship while marrage(you might as well say you guys are married)is commiting adultery,and in the ten commandments is sais not to commit adultery.I think if it is in your will that you forgive him,and pray,and believe in GOD to give you the answer.Because WE can't just go off of our feelings,we have to go off of the truth in reality,and you'll know when Your heart DEEPLY FEELS that this answer is genuine.PLEASE take my answer into consideration,and try it.I hope I helped,and would love to anytime.

I say if your love runs that deep for him but its all about forgiving and forgetting, and trust is the key to a happy successfully relationship if you dont believe that you can ever gain those things back than I say dont even keep the relationship going, sometime guy may need the time to realize what they have , or sometime guys my feel they need more than what your giving them, instead if talking it out they react on things that they think well be right but I hope you well with what ever decision you make but remember to love your self first..

i went thru similar thing. Guys will lie their way out of anything! mine did until i had proof he was "with' the other woman.finally admitted the affair (she dumped him). they always think the grass is greener. i would NOT marry this guy..for at least another year or more. track his behavior and see if he is going after any more girls etc. do NOT let him know you are on to his tactics. give him enough rope and he WILL hang himself. Mine told me it was all over etc. and then i started checking up....got his cell phone bill and there were 105 calls between him and her in 1 month! he said "i just needed to hear her voice"?? i threw him out....should of never married him.....then find out he had another affair 3 years into our marriage! so, my advice would be......once a cheater always a cheater. If he was "in love" with YOU he would NOT need to go away with any other girl. dont be stupid. get out now. good luck.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this guy is immature and not ready to commit. You never said how old you were but you sound young. Too young to be thinking about marriage. Move on. You'll find a better man soon enough.

make him earn your trust and see if he keeps to his promise that he wont cheat or look the other way but your direction ,if he buys only you things and takes you on trips etc just the two of you maybe it will improve things between you , but if he stays true and loves only you then give him a chance then maybe think marriage and children, if worse comes worse go to a guidance councellor for guidance.

i agree. do not marry this guy. if you forgive him now he will think that if he does it again, all he has to do is convince you he's sorry & deserves another chance. Ive been there & it got bad. He cheated on me manyyy times & i just kept forgiving & forgiving. in the end, it will not work.

He will be the type to cheat and beg for your forgiveness every time you catch him. I wouldn`t marry him. Been there, and I moved on.
