Emo (Ioma in Irish) is a village in County Laois, Ireland. It is located near Portlaoise just off the N7 Dublin–Limerick road.

Emo Court was designed for the earls of Portarlington. Adjoining the town is Emo park, formerly Dawson's Court, the splendid mansion of the Earl of Portarlington.
