Go to Focus DIY where you can buy covers for your pipes. These are made of white plastic and are shaped like a square cut in half. They come with fittings but make sure you get the correct size for your pipes. They are really easy to fit and you can paint them in a colour to match your decor. A member of staff will help you when you get to the store.

A difficult one - I have a similar problem. B&Q do a white plastic casing which will go over pipes - ie a quick way of boxing them in - but it is not any good if you have to go around corners, etc. In the end I gave up and painted them the same colour as the wall. The professional way to do it is to box them in completely - but if like me, you have alot of them, then 1)doing it yourself is tricky - better to have a carpenter - but even if you do, you loose alot of space, because you need to affix battons on the wall to attach the plasterboard boxing to - and depending on where your pipes are it could end up looking uglier. Try the b%Q plastic solution first, because it is quite cheap, and will tidy things up - good luck!

Try plastic electrical trunking, available in all sizes from any electrical wholesaler. It's a piece of cake to work with and when you finish it off with a bead of mastic, looks a pukker job.
