I think two years is a great time to have promise rings- if you love each other and are a committed relationship- I think it is sweet.
Just remember a promise is a promise and contrary to popular belief promises are NOT meant to be broken.
Congratulations on your commitment to each other! Happy new year.

it really is a promise to be jointly. That in the destiny you receives married. the reason you're literally not getting an engagement ring is because it really is an illustration to commence planning and he's no longer waiting for that yet. yet a promise ring is saying he doesn't pick to be with every person else and he needs you to do not ignore that too. And it might nicely be a huge deal reckoning on what style of guy your with.

I think that is great. Smart thing to do rather than commit totally to an engagement since I would guess that you are perhaps in high school or college. That's what we used to call "going steady". A guy would give you his high school ring or ID bracelet and that meant you were only dating him. If you are older than that and love each other, then an engagement ring might have been in order. Just glad you are happy.

Promise rings are thoughtful, cute, somewhat meaningful tokens given as gifts to girlfriends. Frankly, anything given with the specific and verbalized intent of being a "promise" serves the same purpose. Promise rings were specifically invented by the jewelry industry to sell to simple thinkers who cannot adequately communicate.
But what is the purpose?
What is the big Promise they are supposed to convey?
Usually these questions are never answered and it is left to the recipient to assume it means something..... 'nuff said

Well I really think its up to you. It like when you get engaged I don't think there is a set time on when it should be given. A ring is a ring its what you feel in your heart.
