The people who become the powers got there through politics;catering to other people who they would not ,under different circumstances,give the time of day.
I'm not saying that's all it takes. A person has to be good,talented in that field,but politics,I feel, is 60% of material you need to attain the position of power.
And politics continues to be the principal game after getting the position.Okay, there is a position that you have to fill. Because of outside pressure you have to appoint someone you know is a freakin' idiot.I goes against your judgment, but you appoint the idiot.Now ,someone owes you a favor.
Before you know it ya just got a brand BMW in appreciation for your filling the above position with the mentally challenged son-law of the vice president.But what the hell,you love that car.
