Dogs just love to be petted. You can determine where your dogs favorite pet spot is by trial and error. But most dogs like their head and behind their ears rubbed and most love a good belly rub. Overall dogs still like a good body rub or massage.

I have 3 dogs, they each have they are on special spot.
Peaches likes her back,
Clover likes her head and ears,
Chubby likes her tummy.
I belive it depends on the dog.

my shiba inu likes it behind his left ear, my akita likes it under her neck and my parents dog likes it on his butt above the tail. I think it all just depends on the dog.
