My cat pretty much thinks she is a dog. She comes to me when I call her (Everytime), she chases her tail (Not to clean it, just because it's there), she meows at typical things a dog would bark at, and she's not very good at balance. I'm just asking if this if funny. It's true but it's so funny. So I named my cat "Dopey" as in she ate my stash a while back when she was wee little kitten. And all of you anti drug people out there.... Weed does not harm animals, veterinians used to use it as a sedative because that's all it is. So don't start yelling about animal abuse. My cat is healthy. A little fat like Garfield, but healthy. I know because she gets regular check ups at the vet. And she's an inside cat. She doesn't even try to go outside. She's too lazy to try. LMFOA!

Some cats are sociable, My sis had a cat that we named dog for that reason. He was so doglike, he insisted on 'going' outside instead of his litter box.( the litter box wound up as a really good place to start seeds)

no this kind of thing happens all the time i once had a cat that also thought he was a dog i would throw his toy's and he would fetch them we would play for hours you can train a cat like a dog only it takes more time and patients.

I had a batch of kittens that I would fetch.
I would throw the little fur ball toys and they would run down the hall and bring it back.

my cats the same way...she plays fetch and likes to roll on her back and play dead, at first I thought it was the catnip toys getting her high, but we cutoff the catnip supplies and shes still a trip..anyways, shes our cheap entertainment, and guests love it!!!
