I want to go to New Zealand for my honey moon. I would like to know were to get the best bang for my buck? It would also be nice to chat with someone who lives there.

NZ has a lot ot offer, the least expensive is the West Coast of the South Island and down toward the Glaciers
The time of teh year makes a big difference
October til April is the high season, then the ballance is the shoulder season , with skiing in the middle which is high season for ski resorts.
cheao skiing can be found at the club fields. there are lots out of Christchurch

A Really nice romantic dinner - Christchuch - is to go up for a meal at the Gondola just before sunset, enjoy a great meal, and the stuning sun set 360 degrees while you eat, the night lights over desert and the journey down, reasonably priced last time I was there.
Christchurch again - romantic ride on the gondola with a picnic in the botanical gardens
