Using heat compresses on your face work, not too hot though.
Also using a Humidifier can help.
For the fever portion, trying using Tylenol or generic, which is Acetomenophen.
If you neck aches, using a heaing pad on your neck can help as well.
Stay away from all dairy products. WHY? Dairy only creates more mucus and makes any congestion worse. Drinking plenty of water helps loosen mucus and helps to get ride of a cold faster. Drinking some warm water with real lemon juice in it will help reduce the congestion as well. The acid in the lemon helps clear out mucus.
HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON!

Whenever I get a fever, I take the hottest shower imaginable. As hot as you can stand it. Stay under that water until you get dizzy and delirious. (Be sure you got something to hold on to!) Then when you get out, keep the bathroom fan OFF and sit on the closed toilet seat, like as if in a makeshift sauna. Dry off, and wear comfy things.
Do you have any manner of tea? Peppermint is good for fever, angelica eases cold/flu discomfort, and coltsfoot is an expectorant.
Sleep with pillows stacked high so that the nasal drip ends up anywhere besides the back of your throat and into your stomach (appetite killer, that is) Don't be afraid to drool of you must.
I speak all this from experience!
...even the drool.

Try drinking warm fluids and eating chicken noodle soup. Or boil some water and put your head and nose in the steam.

If your throat hurts, honey.
I find that chewing certain gum helps clear the air passage way.
