You don't have to go to a doctor to get rid of lice, go to the drug store or Walmart or something and buy the lice shampoo stuff. There is one called nix or something like that, make sure you follow the directions, and repeat in a week to kill any newly hatched bugs and you should be OK.

Do not do any of the stupid ways like turpentine unless you are in the mood to catch on fire.

Well don't panic I have just the thing. you have to take a regular jar of manoyise and spread it all over her head. Do not panic to do this it's a very simple task let the child no the lice will be gone. Let it soak on her head for 3 hours. With in the 3 hours the lice will seek the smell and poisin and eventually with be dead. You rinse her head after 3 hours and shampoo and condition it for 10 minutes each. Let it dry itself (no blow drying) and it will be gone! Hope this works for you!

Use a de-lousing shampoo called Nix, you can get it any CVS or RiteAid, you are going to want to treat everyone in the house. You are also going to want to wash all bedding in hot water with bleach to kill any nits (lice eggs). Any stuffed toys or clothing that may have come in contact with lice or nits should also be placed in plastic bags a put in the freezer for 24 hours to kill any nits that may be present.

There's a spray you can buy at wal-mart and such places in the medicine aisles.
Also, wash sheets, pillows, etc in HOT water. Put stuffed animals in a garbage bag, spray some of the medicine in the garbage bag and tie it really tight so they will suffocate.
Don't send her to school until you are positive they are all gone, it could be embarrssing for her.

you don't need to go to a doctor for headlice.
go to wallgreens or winn dixie and get a lice kit...Nix or something like that they're called. I seen them last night night when I was buying shampoo. They'll work as good as anything else....

most schools require a note from the doctor. so be careful.
Walgreen's had some wonderful products the last time- it was over 10 years ago now.

Good luck.
