I was grocery shopping the other day and there was a man and a woman in line before me. The man was coughing and sneezing everywhere. I knew he was ill because his shopping basket was filled with cold medication, etc. Why can't people simply STAY HOME when they are sick and not infect everyone else? He had someone with him, so why didn't the lady go to the store and buy his medicine by herself? What is the point in going out in public and spreading your germs? Its unhealthy for me, as well as you who are sick!

Some people do that. Maybe they were both sick, but the ladie's case was milder, and he needed a specific medicine that he needed a perscription for and uhh.......YOU'RE RIGHT! There was no reason why he should have been there that day. I hope you didn't get the sickness from him.

As others have said before me.. maybe he drives and his wife does not, or maybe they had just come to pick meds up on the way out of the doctors office, or maybe a million other reasons that really don't matter. Do you really think this poor guy wanted to be out in public when he was sick???? How about not being so judgemental and try walking in his shoes before you go and get all nasty over it!! Not everyone can stay home when they are sick even when they really want to.

I totally agree with you! Some people are so free hearted that they want everyone to be sick right along with them! If sick one should go out as little as possible. Some people go out to as many public places as they can to see how many other people can get sick right along with them! When i am sick i prefer to stay home and get well and help keep others healthy.

I think sometimes people want to stay home but then their spouse begs them to go with them to make sure they get the right meds...etc...Not everyone has someone either which makes that even harder to stay home but yeah it would be great if stores would deliver meds to sick people so we would stop spreading stuff around.

How is he supposed to get his cold medicine if he can't go out in public?!?!?!?!!?
Okay, so that guy had someone with him, but we can't all.
Some of us don't have the luxury of letting our lives come to a halt because we have the sniffles. Some of us have to work and take care of others.
