Have you ever had a feeling something bad was going to happen? I keep having this feeling and thinking that someone is going to break into the school and, You know, cause utter chaos really. I'm probably just not used to highschool, and maybe a little paranoid, But even in my dreams, something bad is happening at the school and i am, quite simply, spooked. I my one dream, we were in math class, and these people came to the class with guns and were saying if anyone tried anything they would shoot them. I remember someone hitting the one "shooter"(?) over the head with a broom, and then..well...they were shot :( I've been pondering this possibility for quite some time, and I'm scared. Am I losing it, paranoid, or maybe right that this might happen? I mean on the news, you hear about students being held hostage in school, or students bringing weapons to school..you get the point..I'm freaked out!

I had one of these episodes too. It is probably just about growing up and hormonal imbalances and stuff. I would have these days where I would be the hppiest I have ever been and then something clicked and I was pretty much as sad as I have ever been. I don't know if you experience this feeling at night when noone in home is up and it feels like someone is watching you and there is this lngering phobia. But then when you wake up you laugh at yourself for being scared. I am sure it is just something like that. I'll pray for you!

A lot of bad things about high schools have been on the news. I think you're probably just worried. Its like after you see Childplay for the first time and have to move all the dolls out of your room for a few months. Don't worry about it. If you have been watching the news before bed, don't. Usually what happens before bed affects you as you're sleeping. Instead, read a happy book or watch a funny movie or tv show or something. I hope this helps.

With everything that is going on it sounds like you may have PTSD or OCD...you may want to talk to a school counselor and see what they suggest...let them know how you are feeling and how it bothers your sleeping habits too. This could get serious if not treated. I went a year before being treated for PTSD and now its been 5yrs and I still have the symptoms. The sooner you get help the better it is for your body...
