The temperature of heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is the Bible, Isaiah 30:26 reads, Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days. Thus, heaven receives from the moon as much radiation as the earth does from the sun, and in addition seven times seven (forty nine) times as much as the earth does from the sun, or fifty times in all. The light we receive from the moon is one ten-thousandth of the light we receive from the sun, so we can ignore that. With these data we can compute the temperature of heaven: The radiation falling on heaven will heat it to the point where the heat lost by radiation is just equal to the heat received by radiation. In other words, heaven loses fifty times as much heat as the earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann fourth power law for radiation

(H/E)4 = 50
where E is the absolute temperature of the earth, 300°K (273+27). This gives H the absolute temperature of heaven, as 798° absolute (525°C).

The exact temperature of hell cannot be computed but it must be less than 444.6°C, the temperature at which brimstone or sulfur changes from a liquid to a gas. Revelations 21:8: But the fearful and unbelieving... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." A lake of molten brimstone [sulfur] means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, which is 444.6°C. (Above that point, it would be a vapor, not a lake.)

We have then, temperature of heaven, 525°C (977°F). Temperature of hell, less than 445°F). Therefore heaven is hotter than hell.

Heaven is the place where one will live with God for eternity. Hell is the place of eternal punishment where unrepentant sinners will suffer forever.

you would do better to read your Bible with an open mind, heart, and of course ears. Science has always tried to discredit the words of God Almighty. Let's see how many scientists can figure out how to quench the fires of hell. Stop the nonsense and learn to love the Lord God with all your heart, mind body, and soul! Be Blessed and do not be a fool, for the time draw near.

Since the moon's light is entirely reflected sunlight, your amazing intellectual gymnastics with regard to math and bible verses are just one thing:

Impossible.

Don't forget that the bible was written by ancient, ignorant, superstitious people who were afraid of thunder and thought rain was god punishing them. Here in the 21st century, we know better...and understand the scientific, natural mechanisms behind such things.

What is the difference between heaven and hell? Nothing -- they're both entirely made-up, non-existant places that are the products of ignorant, superstitious minds. Come -- join us in the 21st century and leave 3000 year old superstition behind! :)

If you read the rest of that passage it says that's what it will be like when God's children's enemies are destroyed. And heaven is only 525 degrees C if heaven is the sky I am to understand? Where is heaven to you?

Your theory is flawed. You are neglecting the fact that radiant heat energy and light are not the same and occupy different parts of the spectrum. Also you assume (I suspect incorrectly) that heaven comprises of solid matter.

As for hell, it's the absense of God that make it so unbearable.

Heaven is where you spend eternal life. It's light, understanding, love, knowledge, peace, joy, action,. interaction with others, no death or sorrow.

Hell is the opposite. It's the place where the unsaved soul dies. There is only darkness, no understanding, no love, no knowledge, no peace or joy, no action, no interaction with others, no life or goodness. It is just the place of eternal death.

It's kind of not explaining it so well but that is a good story. The moral isn't that it's without God's love, the moral is that hell is a place of selfishness where people who are so intent on getting what they want don't ever get it but in heaven when they help each other they can achieve whatever they want so long as they work together. If hell was that easy I wouldn't mind that I would just feed the other people.
