Im joining the golf team at my highschool next year. And I want to start practicing with some larger clubs. But im still growing. Should I just wait until next year to get new clubs?

Really this is a question only you can answer. If your clubs are working and feeling good then don't change. If they are getting too short then you really don't have a choice. Your club when standing should sit somewhere between your belly button and Your sternum (where your rib cage meets) Obviosly if you are still growing you will eventually need new clubs. And if you want to take up golf very seriously then don't hesitate when you are ready, or you will just find yourself getting frustrated with your clubs that are too small and not enjoying the game.

Go to your local golf shop and check out their used club selection. Don't overspend on a brand new set if you think you will still keep growing. You can also do Ebay, but you need to hit different clubs to see which works for you. That's why the golf shop is better.

Have you considered a trade in program for your golf clubs? Calloway offers wonderful deals and if you are near a golfsmith, they offer VERY CHEAP rental clubs to students through the school year. Check it out! Google Golfsmith!

If I would you, I would wait until later. I waited until I completely outgrew mine before I got new ones and I am doing fine. As i said, you should probably wait longer but it is your choice.
