Here's something you need to understand. MOST men do not like "skinny" girls. Most men like women with some meat on their body and curves. Another thing you should understand is that everyone has different tastes and the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I was listening to a radio program last week and the DJ called a 5 foot 1 inch girl who weight 130 lbs "chubby", even though he never saw what she looked like and didn't get to see how the weight was distributed. He further shocked me when he said that 130 lbs was heavy even if she was 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Baloney.
The real question is WHY do you want to be "skinny"? And exactly what do you mean by that?
Here's another fact. Diets don't work. Not eating doesn't work. After losing a friend to anorexia because she refused to eat this is a really sore subject. Here's what works.
First, you pay a visit to your doctor and make sure you're healthy. Then ask him to refer you to a nutritionist so you can permanently alter the way that you eat. Diets don't work. So the approach you need to take is to simply eat better and in smaller portions.
The weight loss industry knows this but makes billions trying to sell you different exercise equipment and pills. When the reality is all you need to do is eat the right foods, stay away from sodas and too much sugar, and exercise regularly. Lifting weights and building some muscle also helps you lose weight because your muscles, as they grow, need more calories to burn and expend more energy.
I've been eating a lot more vegetables lately, sushi, fish, chicken (baked not fried), some more fruit, and using my juicer to make juice instead of buying it at the store. I sleep better. I've lost ten pounds in a month which is healthy weight loss (losing ten pounds in one week is NOT healthy). My sex life is better, I have more energy, and my mental clarity has never been better.
Once I gave up soda and fast food and started living in the present and eating for health and not just weight loss, my life has improved 1000% percent!
Go see your doctor, get on a nutrition plan so you don't starve yourself, and start working out regularly. EVen walking 3-5 miles 4 to 5 times a week will do wonders for your body. When you starve yourself you are robbing your body of nutrients it needs and you lose muscle. Trust me, you don't want to lose muscle. One last thing,......when you don't eat you are training your body to store fat and you don't want to do that. Just eat right, work out, and you'll be just fine.
And make sure you want to be "skinny" for yourself and to be healthy and NOT for anyone else.

Yeah there's always the regular: Eat Healthy and Excersice, but here's the real deal just relax and be yourself. Work off the weight by being hyper. That's a sort of excersice if you don't want to go to the gym. Drink plenty of water and if you don't like water, drink flavored water. I'm naturally skinny because I'm so hyper I run around alot and stuff. But anyways, you'll be alright.

The real secret is to, instead of eating less than you usually do, to exercise more and eat healthier. For example, instead of eating a hamburger, eat two servings of salad. Substitute foods you usually eat for healthier ones. Also, exercise. A real easy way to exercise is to run for one hour everyday. You can either use a treadmill or you can run around the park or your neighborhood.
Remember: if you become anorexic, you will reach a point where your body is so deprived of protein that it will swell up. So would you rather lose weight naturally by exercising and eating right, or would you rather lose weight right away but then have your body swell up anyway?
