The stuff I use is not a spray but it's heat-activated straightening cream and it works fine with my hair. It's from Loreal Paris, Studio Line, Hot Straight. Or try the sprays from Pantene.

I've tried tons of expensive salon products as well as drug store protectants. Kenra Thermal Protectant spray works the best for me. It's even better than Chi and Matrix. Kenra's has a slight hold which helps lock moisture out. It makes my hair shiny too.

The absolute best is Straighten Out from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens.
