All dogs cry or whimper when in pain or something is bothering them. To see tears in your dogs eyes is normal as long as they don't ooze or look infected, like a yellowish discharge. But anytime you are concerned about your dog you can visit your vet to be sure. Most vets will talk to you on the phone to answer a short question such as yours. Janet

I have two labs. One a purebred English chocolate lab. Other is a black lab and terrier mix. They will whine which is the same as crying when I am not home etc. New information for those who don't know. Labrador come in English and American. Just like Amercian, English Foxhound and American and English bulldog. Look up Lab, there will mention there are american and english but both are consider lab and under akc.

I have three labs and I've never seen them cry, but they dream when they sleep constantly! Barking, moaning, and even moving their paws like they're running.

Yes, I have a mix breed, but yes she does cry for me, she is my best pal.. cant find a better galpal! I love my Jenna!

yeah our girl cries sometimes. she also makes Elvis faces.
