I'd have to say Pilsner Urquell for historical reasons
(besides, it is really tasty).
Up to 1842 all beer that was brewed was made using
darker malt. Pilner Urquell was the first pilsner and started a revolution in brewing.

My favorite, so far, is Holsten (brand name) Festbock. It's German. You can't get it in the states. :( You can get it in BC though. It is 7% alcohol by volume, It's a dark beer, but still goes down smoothe, and I belive it's a seasonal. That's about all I know about it.
