I think you have a point, because the earth is rather over-populated, and it will continue to grow immensely in population. Something has to be done, measures need to be taken in order to ensure that our poulation stays under control.
Over-poulation leads to more diseases, and more epidemics, and more pollution, and emisson of green-house gases. If we do not do something about this, it will lead to the extinction of the human race, and civilization as we know it.

Population growth needs to level off in the next few decades to avoid conflicts over resources such as water. United States citizens enjoy a wealthy lifestyle overall, utilizing far more resources than most countries. If all the so-called developing nations tried to emulate our lifestyle, the system would collapse.
We can't depend on technology to bail us out this time. Population control, advances in technology, increased vegetarianism, and a sustainable lifestyle globally are all steps we'll need to employ to maintain the kinds of lifestyles we've come to enjoy.

I think may be the answer's in free energy devises, then there'd be no need for culling of humanity by war, or deceases, etc. But conventional sciences turns a blind eye to any thing out of their known sphere of science technologies.

Just because there's some space left doesn't mean we should develop those areas for habitation.
Earth is overpopulated, and our resources badly managed.

No it isn't. It's due to the way we have allocated the resources - economics.
If we had not used unrenewable sources in such vast quantities, and in such unequal unnecessary quantities, it would all be much better.
