I nibble them into funny shapes, sh*t on one side and sell them as chocolate animals in my newsagents.

Hello there
If you call this a dirty habit then you should stop doing it!
you can have a nibble from two or three just to see which one you like best but do not return it to the tin. Or just break into half and share with a friend or someone from the family.
Not take a nibble from each and every biscuit and put it back into the tin. Who will eat the rest then???
That's simply is not proper.
