ours is a small church
i am unsure about how many official members there are
but it isnt the amount of people it holds that matters
it is that the people that it holds are good loving people
you could have a full church with little love in anyones hearts

My Church is a small Independent Baptist Church and there are approximately 275 members but there are alto of elderly people that are members but they don't always show up so i would say that we have sometimes 100 to 120 on a good Sunday morning and on Sunday nights around 65 to 70 and then on Wednesday nights 45 to 50 but I do like my small little country church because I grew up in a church the size you are talking about and u couldn't possibly get to know everyone so I like the one i go to now. Good Question!! God Loves You!!!!!!!!!!

My church has about 1500 members. I'd say around 1000 show up on Sundays. I really prefer a smaller church. We grew from 300 to 1500 and lost the family feeling of the church. It's kind of sad.

my church has 1085 members, so it isen´t a mega church, but i find smaller churches better, cuz u get to know everyone and there is a better relationship between people and the services are great too, i don´t know, i like the churches from the country side better then the mega once in cities, everything, worship and praise, the whole service is better, but this is just my opinion; and about how many show up on Sundays...not many...sadly

Mega churches are ran to make a profit, not glorify God. They are ran by men who do not know God and are filled with deceived people that think they are christians. To see the truth about your church go to the below website. If you allow Him, maybe God will open your blind eyes.

My church has (to date) approximately 6,000,000,000 members, with about 1,000,000,000 of them presently living on earth.
As near as I can tell, all 5,000,000,000 in heaven showed up for Mass today, but only about 100,000,000 of those still on earth faithfully attended.
We need some serious help with the other 900,000,000.
Any ideas?

Mine is like yours. A mega-church. gift / coffee shop and gym. I attend because it is close to my house and is nondenomiational. I also don't get volunteered for everything like in smaller churches.

I feel like I am lost in the crowd at big churches. It seems they have little groups of friends and its harder to find your place to fit in. Smaller churches seem more like a family and they are small enough for the pastor to get to know his people more personally.
