I want the computer to reboot faster. What should I untick on my startup list? Is it true that I can uncheck everything apart from my norton's? Or will I need to keep my DSL ticked on startup?

Please help! This is something what I would really like to know.

whatever you uncheck WILL NOT start up with windows
your firewall
your printer
your anti-virus
your modem
anything else in that list that you want running
should be left checked

Keep the DSL ticked on. Expand all the other categories to see if you will need them on startup.

Don't mess with it man. If you uncheck something important like WINDOWS .exe's than it can be a pain in the behind to fix. They are all inter-linking.

if you have windows xp you may remove every entry if you wish.. you just wont have certain programs starting when windows does.
