It’s just I am a 24 year old guy, and I would like to wait till marriage, to lose my virginity to someone special. But I just have to know is it worth it in the end, because I worry sometimes because I am still single.

Hun, it is SOO worth it. I have been married for 20 years. My dh saved himself for when he was married but I did not. He gave me such a special gift. I am the only woman he has ever been with, I dont have to worry he is comparing me to anyone or pretending I am some lost love. I only wish I could have given him that gift. It really hurts me that I was so irresponsible. I gave my virginity go a guy who didnt care one bit about me. Your first time is rarely ever fireworks and earth moving, Lovemaking is like anything else, you and your partner will need to learn each other's likes and dislikes. It's a learning experience like anything else in life. :) But one that is well worth experiencing. We have been married 20 years. My husband thinks I am the best lover in the world even thought things have drooped and I am not that sweet young thing. BUt our sex life gets better and better with time :) and I think that is because of the gift he gave to me 20 years ago.

Hugs
Jo

Tough question, my friend. I think there are many special people out there. Have a relationship or two. This will mature you and help prepare you for when your soulmate comes along. In this day and age, rarely is the first time a charm. Actually, it never has been. People just stayed in miserable marriages in days past because they had made the marriage commitment and didn't want to break it. Today, as sad as it may be, 65% of marriages end in divorce. This is because we're caring more about our personal life satisfaction and are less willing to live an unsatisfying life. I suggest practicing being in a relationship, learning how to work through differences, relieving the sexual tension so you can think rationally when you're with women you might consider prospective mates.

I have had a few girlfriends however I wanted to wait until the time was right to loose my virginity! I am now with the person whom I want to spend my life with, and only just lost my virginity to her! It was worth it! Instead of it being just sex, it was something special and I am pleased that I waited!

Personally, I wouldn't. I'm all for waiting until you're with someone special, but I think waiting until you're married is risky. Yes, there is much more to a relationship than sex, but that does not mean that sex is not important. And the fact is, it is quite possible to love someone dearly but not get on with them sexually. You don't want to find this out on your wedding night.

it is very much worth it, your desire and feeling about sex with the woman you married will make your family life very good and will last till the end because you dedicated your desire to her only and same goes to her, you must marry also a virgin, and believe me it is super worth it specially for you because you are 24 and in maximimum 5 years you will be married, so be sober and good luck

I would have to say it is worth it. I am 22 and am saving myself for my husband (and pray he is waiting for me too). From what I hear, the emotional baggage in a relationship once sex happens isn't worth the sex.

I have a good friend who was a huge ladies man in college. He finally met a girl who he fell in love with and waited until marrige to have sex with her. There were complications due to size incompatabilities. That's something to think about.

I can't speak as someone who waited, but I can speak as someone who didn't wait, was in a hurry to have it all, and wished she'd been more patient. Patience is never bad.
