It really depends. You have to remember that the UK has an 'official' religion. Many people select 'CofE' on census forms, so I would imagine that many of the figures out there are incorrect.

It's hard to say.
Most British people have an affiliation to the church, however do not consider themselves to be Christians. In fact, only 35% of British people believe in God, the rest are Atheist or Agnostic.
I'd say only in reality about 20% are Christians, or even less.

You would need to define 'Christian'. If you mean 'Church attender'then it is around 12%. (8% on a fairly regular bassi) Which is more than the membership of all political parties put together

Chrismyarse the Christians I know are none of those things. They are intelligent, of all different ages,many werent bought up by Christian parents and are certainly not stupid. Many are doctors scientist teachers and other such people.
