6 year old cat I jsut got. I hand feed, it willl not drink even from running water... It sleeps in my bed, uses kitty litter and that's it! What do I do? It was in vert owner said 3 weekss ago for shots etc.

Is it fat?
Try play with it - give it a ball of string.
Also try, locking her in another room.
Be playful with her. Don't get her shot by the vet. let her go naturally.
Just play with her or caress her or even talk to her.
Hope it gets back up and gets merry :)

if you feed it wet food it might just not be thirsty. my cats don't drink alot- and they eat dry food. keep an eye on the litter box- if the cat is peeing regularly then it is getting enough water.
cats can just be lazy. mine is.

its probably just finding the most comfortable place possible because its getting used to the new enviroment
