The best straightener by far is the MaxiGlide. It's for all types of hair, even the thickest and most coarse. I have friends of many races with very different textures of hair and this straightener is a blessing! I wouldn't use anything but this one. It even has little combs on the straightening part. That's what really gets your hair bone straight. You can find the MaxiGlide on the home shopping commercials. But it's cheaper if you look on eBay or Amazon.

CHI !!!
They run around a hundred dollars in the department stores where I've seen them. Maybe look around online or ebay and you could fidn it for less.
It is not a better hair straightener than all the other ones I've tried, it is completely different. I don't even bother straightening anymore unless my friend who has a chi is over, nothing else compares.

Well i have Remmington "wet to straight" It works well because my hair is not REALLY curly but its curly enough to were i have to straighten it. This straightener is not that expensive and it works good! also it drys your hair to but i never do that, i always striaghten it dry. Another hair straightener i have heard works good is the Sedu. It is about 120 dollars and works better probablt then the one i have but im not willing to spend that much. It all depends on youre price range and hair type. Do research on the ones you like and read customer reviews before you decide to buy it!

CHI.
The price depends on what size you want. The wider you go, the more expensive. Just do an online search for "Chi Ceramic Iron" and you'll be able to do some comparison shopping.

I have one of the best out there, but it doesn't work unless I spend a long time using it (maybe 45 mins). This is because my hair is SUPER thick and frizzy. Not everyone was meant to straighten their hair.

i use he conair. Believe it or not the cheepest ones are better. i use the big ones and it has a gold straightening part. you would also wanna try paul mitchells.
Hold the straightener more at the tips of your hair and and slow at the top.
try it.
i bought mine for 30$
