relationships are all normal, but when you say committed, it means its solo, no other desire to be or date anyone else, talking of future together.

First of all, there is no such thing as a "normal" relationship. You can have relationships with your parents and family, friends, pets, and those you are interested in non-platonically (for lack of a better term), so there are many, many different types of relationships.
The committed relationship usually refers to the non-family, non-platonic, emotional (and possibly sexual) relationship. It means that two people (gay or straight) are committed only to one another, in a (supposedly) monogamous relationship. It's not to say that there is no cheating going on, it only means that there isn't supposed to be.
A sexual-type relationship in which the participants are free to see others, or in which others are invited into the couple's bed, are usually referred to as "open" or "swinger" relationships.

a committed relationship is the same as a normal relationship except there's a commitment there to bind you both, it could be something as trivial as sharing a Teddy bear to as big as marriage. while in a normal relationship, it's two people who are together because they want to be.

Basically the same.
Except in a committed relationship the two people have had a talk and decided BOTH want to be with just each other. There are no doubts or assumptions.

It's the same thing. Maybe you are asking what the difference is between a relationship, and a quick fling? Most people are into quick flings these days where your with the person once or twice, or maybe a few weeks, but nothing serious.

I love it when people ask those things on here.
Here's the difference:
Commited Relationship:
-You two are more serious about eachother.
-One little fight or one big fight wouldn't result in a break-up.
-The word 'love' is brought up and is meant.
-Marriage and future are often talked about freely and comfortably with eachother.
-Meeting eachother's families
-Going to eachothers families parties
-Giving gifts on holidays and birthdays
-Compromising
-Trust
ect.
Normal/non-commited Relationship:
-exact opposite from what I just explained
-breakup is easily accomplished with one fight
-many breakup/get back togethers will ensue
-lots of fighting/non compromising
-not meeting eachothers families
-never talking about marriage/rarely talking about the future
-its a 'whatever' relationship

committed: heading towards marriage
regular: you both enjoy each other's company, but aren't sure about your future together
open: you are pretty much just friends with benefits!
