I believe in the existence of an almight, omnipotent, creator God.

However, the Bible, Torah, and Quran are just fairy tales from the incorrect Abrahamic religions. Of course, they are of moral value...but do not take them for anything more than moral fables. The 3 Abrahamic religions are useful as moral guidance, but are ultimately superstition.

Science, logic, and reason has long proven the superstitious elements in these so called "holy" scriptures to be false. Remember, these books are based on a supernatural interpretation of history...ancient people would have percieved events such as floods and earthquakes as acts of God instead of water cycle and tectonic plates.

I'm a Deist and believe that the physical laws of science are God's method of shaping the universe. :-)

I grew up Catholic going to mass, doing youth group, confirmation, etc. When I was involved I believed in everything. When I went to basic for the Army I carried a small bible with me. Since then I feel I have lost my way. I started wanting concrete proof of something I had always had faith in. I know I am a spiritual person. So I can talk about that.

I believe 'being spiritual' defines the level your spirit is operating at. This of course would be 'consciously'.
Depending on what ones view of the 'spiritual' is, this will directly effect what steps they take to increase their level of spirituality.

I believe that the 'spirit' is what you feel, but can't be expressed in words. It is true perhaps only to the person who feels it, and usually is unexpressable, except by those who are in 'deep love', as I have heard.

I would like to find my way back to believing in a higher power. I know that God has never left me, it is I who has left him. Maybe what I am doing is blaming God for something that happened in my life. I don't know.

That He is nothing but the purest form of love that will ever exist. Without Him there is nothing. I can't wait until that last trump sounds to be with Him.
Mind you, you do know that when He comes, it won't be nothing like that nonsense in all those "Left Behind" madness; so, just stick to what the Bible says and you will be safe in the presence of Christ.
Meaning there won't be anyone "left behind " but the devil and his angels for 1000 years, then the wicked will be allowed to live again for a brief period. Then they under the lies of the devil will try to take over the "City" and then God will destroy the devil 1st, then his angles; so that all the world will see, how they were deceived, then he wicked will be judged and sent to their rewards.

God is the Father. Some people say apes have evolution to human, but how did they born? There is only one God, many religions but they're all about one God except He has many names.
