I think so. I know certain sounds irritate my dogs and other sounds soothe them, so I believe certain types of music (mellow) calm them.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU1JH
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Dogs that are alone during the day appreciate having the Tv or radio on. Of course, it might be a little too much to hear Arrowsmith screeching and a screaming(LOL) all day long so be sure to thrown in some Mozart. It wouldn't hurt to put a little Rollin' Stones on either. I know my dog is as crazy about Keith and the boys as much as I am.

this is something I have thought of quite a bit. Dog's hear so you would think that they have likes and dislikes. I would asume that a dog would not like high pitched music as much and probably wouldn't like super heavy base either. My first dog, Sam, really seemed to like vivaldi. Ate every record that was brought into the house by the man.

I don't know if my dogs like music, but they recognize it! If I listen to Elton, I'm sad so they get nervous. When I listen to judy Garland they get excited because I am happy! They jump and dance. If we listen to the radio, they recognize "my" songs. Try it with your dog. Play a short song a few times and give him yummy treats each time. Then wait a while, play it again and watch him get totally excited! BOL!
