Yes. Stage IV cancer is often asymptomatic until it is too late. As long as cancer tumors are not pressing on any vital organs they can grow pretty much unihibited. They will not be noticed except as vague pains. Young people are more susceptible to this than older folks. Many times a young person will be playing sports, be injured, taken to the ER and find out that they have cancer too. Tumors can be found during childbirth or by accident during surgery.

So, yes, people die from cancer without realizing that they were so sick.

Of course.

If they don't go to a doctor to find out what these odd pains or blood loss they are having are caused by, then yes.

My father refused to see a doctor for years when he had signs that something wasn't quite right, when he finally went it was too late to do anything.

Brain cancer is one of the most difficult to know about because there is virtually no symptoms, except for headaches, which we all have.

Yes, my Gran died of cancer without knowing it. She always complained of pains in her stomach. The Drs said it is wind, ulcers etc etc. A month later she died. Personally i would be quite happy to die that way, without knowing i have cancer. Not that i wish it on myself or anything but when you know you have cancer it seems worse, doesn't it.
