I think the right way to say that in spanish is the following:
It might rain today: Es probable que llueva hoy or Hoy podría llegar a llover
It was sprinkling a little bit a minute ago: Hace unos minutos cayeron unas gotas o estaba lloviznando
It was raining a little bit a minute ago: Hace unos minutos llovia un poco
It seems like it might rain some: Parece que va a llover.
If the clouds are a little gray it seems like it might rain some: Podría llegar a llover si la nubes están un poco grises
