I have a 7 year old black lab male, hasn't been neutered. He's constantly drinking a lot of water, I let him out to go to the bathroom a lot and he's never had problems going in the house. Recently he's been having accidents, but in a weird way. Three times in the past few months I've fed him and he eats his dinner and then just stands there and proceeds to urinate. Now because he's fully male he usually lifts his leg, but this is almost like he can't control it and doesn't know what's happening. I'm gonna take him to the vet, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

It could be a urinary tract infection, bladder infection, or diabeties (they will start drinking and urinating more with all of these). You should get your guy to the vet and tell him what is going on. They can run some simple tests to help you get to the bottom of this. Check out these 2 links for a little more info. Good luck!

my first advice is to have him neutered once you find out what's wrong with him and he's healthy again. intact male dogs are more prone to problems such as testicular, prostate cancers. they tend to develop anal tumors and fistulas. plus the marking and tendancy to run off after a female in heat up to 3 miles away or more and getting hit by a car or in deadly dog fights. as for your problem try not to let him urinate before going into seeing the vet for awhile beforehand since the vet will probably need to get a urine sample. he may have a bladder infection. just try to keep him clean and happy until you go to the vet tomorrow. and good for you for planning on it anyway.

Take a trip to the vet. I bet he has a urinary track infection. They'll do a quick test and if he's positive...antibiotics are necessary. If he doesn't have a uti, the vet will know where to look next.

Intact dogs are more prone to certain urinary issues. He needs to be seen by the vet asap. Could be enlarged prostate, UTI, stones, crystals, tumor, etc.
Some of the benefits of early neutering: prevention of certain types of hernias and tumors of the testicles and anus. Roaming instinct is nearly eliminated, along with aggressive behavior, urine marking, inappropriate mounting, etc.

There are a lot of medical conditions that can cause increased drinking. I would try to take him out more & not restrict his drinking until you take him to the Vet and find out what's going on.

Make sure he goes outside right before he eats. Maybe his bladder is already full when he's eating, and there isn't room for both food and all of that urine in his system.
Yes, take him to the vet!

Sounds like a bladder infection. Your vet will also check kidney function because of his age.

Lab tests will be able to tell at the vet.
No pun intended. I hope he gets better.
