well, i just recently had sex for the first time. & i bleed afterwards. is this normal? or should i be concerned?

Yes, it is normal. The next time, you may also bleed during, so prepare for that. You're hymen has torn, or, is tearing.
I don't believe this is anything you should worry about, but this is the time you should consider getting a Pap Test/Smear done. Sometimes, I think girls freak out a bit when hearing about Pap tests, but the true reality is that it is a very basic, 123-ABC procedure that will take abuot 5 minutes to get done, yet leaves you feeling completely reassured that you know exactly what is going on with your feminine health.

its normal if it does not continue very long afterwords if it continues you need to see a doctor,because if it doesn't stop you could have internal injury's.my advice is if your concerned about it you really ought to go to a doctor.

Normal... the hymen is broken... hymen= thin piece of skin that cover vaginal opening....
