no, religion is a human contrivance.
religion "per se" is of very little importance to God.
what is important to God is YOUR personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
don't get hung up on "religion".

YES FOR MANY OF THEM !
So many have strayed so far from the truth ! They teach things that you cant find in the Bible, and that is wrong. Jesus called it doctrine of man.
But there is a rare bunch that goes strictly from the Bible and the Bible only ! They are called the Seventh-Day Adventists. I found them about 5 years ago when I went to search out a Religion that was true to the Bible...THERE GREAT !
I found this great site that you can take a "Bible Prophecy" course from and at the end they send you a neat diploma for framing.
www.bibleuniverse.com
you watch a video and take the course on line at your own pace, its SOoo fun ! And they read and teach strictly from the Bible. Its Bible Prophecy and it will show you how close we are to the end of time according to the Bible. It shows how the Bible foretells of History thousands of years before it took place...you will love it !

At Fred Phelp's Westboro Baptist "church" in KS ., it's neither truth of God nor human being . All religion is not about God - as this church would have you believe . They preach hate and hide behind religion to justify that hate .

No, it is a mutated version of our human condition - and so is God. A better way to put it would be they are both human (cultural) products that vary with the society in question - much as kinship systems, or other such institutions.

Religion is a man made edifice constructed around divine truths. Christianity and Islam have fundamentally sound moral precepts at their core but they are masked by all of the meaningless dogma and theology.

Religion is a learning tool that is there when we need it. There is no "Roll Call" at church. If you feel you need some guidance from a trained professional in the field then you go and seek that professional.

Sometimes. There are many denominations that twist the Bible to appeal to more people, like Presbytirian USA endorsing homosexuality just to be popular. Some churches are good, and keep it simple and try not to twist the truth of God.
