whats up, im 14 y.o. and im 123 lbs. (5'7")
I'm on the wrestling team for my school, been wrestling for about 3 years.
I wanna lose about 7-10 lbs, which isn't that hard for me (lightning fast motabolism) so i want to go on a food diet.
I get lots of excersize and eat well- i work with a personal trainer once a week and can go to a gym whenever I want.

any suggestions for a diet that could help me lose a lot quickly?

thanks all

You don't need to be on a diet. Anything under 1.8 to 2 pounds per inch of height is probably going to put you in the underweight category. Right now, you are in the middle, which is the perfect place to be. As long as you are exercising and eating healthy, you are fine.

Starving yourself.
First - This is not a very good way to lose weight. In the long run you will end up with health issues.
Second - Make sure what you eat is healthy and good for you.
Third - Eat in moderation. Not huge meals.
Fourth - Keep the exercise going. Does the body good and relieves stress.
Fifth - If you eat snacks between meals, make sure your snack is healthy. Fruit, nuts, veggies, and so on.
Sixth - Drink plenty of water. Don't drink too much that you feel bloated. Drinking an 8oz. glass of water 20 minutes before each meal also helps with weight loss.

Given your age, current weight, & height, I see no reason for you to lose any weight. You're still young & need to eat properly to maintain good health. Losing weight quickly isn't good for anyone who's trying to shed pounds, besides, the lost weight will end up finding "you" in the long run. You say you have a lightening fast metabolism, which may explain your current weight. You don't need to go on a food diet!!! You need to continue to eat smart & eat a healthy diet that consists of fish, chicken, turkey, very little red meat, whole grains, veggies, fruits, milk (skim or 2%) & some good carbs, as you need carbs for energy. Drinking water daily is essential to good health also.(8-10 glasses daily keep the impurities flushed out) Hope my advivce has been helpful. Good luck.....

You sound just fine to me. You do not want to lose weight quickly. That is not healthy and you will just gain it all back. You should only lose 1 -2 pounds a week with exercises and cutting back slightly on what you eat.

Why do you want a treadmill once you've roads to run on? And there are ordinary such issues as push-ups, crunches, wall sits, lunges, line jumps, squat thrusts, planks, bicycling, sprints, leap rope, pikes, ect, ect, ect, that you'll do with out a gymnasium. There are various workouts that do not require a gymnasium.

go on the atkins or low carb high protien diet but wacth out do it only before wrestling and stop right before you start your matches because it will make you tired but if you do this and lift weights it will contribute to alot of your muscle gain which is good for wrestling
