If you have never ending dandruff, it might be scalp psoriasis. You need to check with a dermatologist to make sure, but you can also check out this site; http://www.psoriasis.org/about/psoriasis/scalp/
To help with the 'dandruff' and also the dryness and frizz, I cover my scalp and my hair in an herbal treatment called henna and let it dry four about 2 hours. It really works! Coconut oil is also fantastic, just make sure to leave it on overnight or for a few hours and then shampoo it off. For the frizz, which is always hard to tame, Garnier Fructis or any shampoo of the sort has never worked for me. The only thing I resorted to that worked was mousse to flatten it out, and mousse is like 100 times better than gel. I never use gel, it can get you lice.
Plus, when you are conditioning your hair, make sure you wash ALL OF IT off. If there's a single spot of conditioner left, it is very bad for your hair. And never sleep with wet hair. Instead of keeping wet hair in a towel, lightly dry it with a hair dryer. My doctor told me to do this so I don't get a fungus. Shampoo at least 3 to 4 times a week or once a day. Sometimes when you shampoo too much your hair reacts in a bad way.
I have the same exact problem and I'm working on this. The henna really worked for me, and I thought I had just really bad dandruff before and nothing worked and my dermatologist told me it was scapl psoriasis and prescribed me some gels, and now it's not even noticeable! Trust me when I tell you this, it comes from years of struggling with the same exact type of hair. GOOD LUCK!!

There is a new brand of shampoos and conditioners just coming out called Organix. Its got organic active ingredients and is sulfate free, so it won't dry out your hair..and the fragrances are amazing. You'll be able to get Organix over the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Safeway, Duane Reade, etc. You'll love it!!! I'd also recommend a product called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. You can get Silk Drops at any Walgreens, CVS, etc.

You get to experiment with products to find what works best for you. A lot of shampoos on the market today contain SLS's. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Both of these create a lot of suds because consumers like suds but can be very drying to your hair. I've switched to shampoos that do not contain either of these ingredients. They can clean your hair just as well without stripping all the moisture out of it.
The only thing they cannot remove well from your hair is silicones. Silicones are marketed as ingredients to prevent frizz. Some of these silicones are not water soluable, and you have to use SLS poos to remove them from the hairshaft or you will wind up with build up.
I used to use silicones daily.. in serums and in hair condtitioners to try to control the frizzies, but it was a losing battle for me. I finally stopped using them altogether and SLS poos and my hair is MUCH healthier and softer.

head and shoulders is not so effective all the time, try this shampoo (Nizoral) it is a special dandruff treatment, or you can try (Selsun).
Garnier, herbal, Yve rocher, .... can cause in your condition more damage because of the fragrances they use, and dont change too often shampoos, this can increase dandruff problems.
