Cause number one is on the Mexican side of the border - their blatantly corrupt political system which taxes them into poverty and offers no services - like JOBS - in return.

That part is THEIR problem to deal with.

OUR problem is American employers who are all to willing to HIRE them - at near SLAVE wages. - Oh - but we turn a blind eye to that because we like affordable products - don't we.

Can you imagine what a bottle of ketchup would cost if Americn UNION workers were being paid to produce it?

Here - I'll simplify it - the root cause of illegal immigration is American companies that HIRE illegal immigrants.

Tale away the jobs and they'll stop coming.

Somewhere in between cheap illegal workers and union workers lies the vast majority of the American workforce.

Illegals drive down the wages of these workers as well as increasing the costs of public services. Companies which hire illegals should be heavily fined. (the unions are already doing themselves in)

I agree with you, but, do not be so quick to jump all over unions. Employers treated their workers like dirt before unions were created. Employees need rights and fair wages. Illegal workers are, in essence, stomping on the work that unions have done by lowering the standard working wage dramatically and pushing legal workers out of the picture.

So then, it is up to this decision. Would I rather:

Pay a lower price for an item or:
Pay a slightly higher price and support ethical working conditions?

I choose the second option.

Employers who use illegal workers should be punished and some are, now that states have enacted penalties to do so. Your argument that we should accept this situationi because its not great in Mexico seems to indicate that we are responsible for people in other countries. Are we? I hope not. You also indicate that the country cannot function without illegals in the work force and make some anti American union statements. I guess you will pretty much turn most of this sites readers into real militant anti illegals now. We had a blatantly corrupt political system in the US that kept us down and we had the American revolution. Its not drastic in Mexico, they have elections. Have you noticed than only untrained, uneducated are illegals and if you have been to Mexico you will see that those who invested in education are doing pretty well. There is a middle class in Mexico. Stay there and work. Illegals come here to work to work for cash jobs and pay no taxes to support the schools and medical system they wish to enjoy. Maybe you think we should send troops to Mexico to fix it for them. Stay home and change your homeland.

hello, Flags, it isn't the "unlawful" it incredibly is a lot of a challenge. it is that the southwest is crammed with human beings of south-of-the-border ancestry that have the look and talk with fairly of an accessory. think of ny city with its Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn accents. some factors only produce human beings with accents.... like the South;-) If it became you, your dad and mom, your brothers and sisters or your grandmas and grandpas that have been going to be insulted and shamed with the aid of being asked for "papers" if a cop pulled them over, perhaps you would be basically a sprint incensed, too. human beings might desire to in no way, in no way ever might desire to furnish data of their citizenship of their very own u . s .. era. No exceptions. You capture illegals the previous-formed way with the aid of going to the place the illegals are - to the form websites, the clothing manufacturers, the homestead advancements shops, the slaughter residences, the canneries and food processing plant life, the farms, the ranches and the fields. Heck, deliver a factor of ICE to any center or excessive-end residential highway any day of the week and additionally you will possibly be able to desire to snag a dozen of them mowing, fixing, tree trimming, portray and homestead cleansing.

another part of the problem is we have a lot of americans that don't want to work and live off welfare. and as far as the cost of the bottle of ketchup it would probably increase 5 cents.

wrong.

liberals like u wont identify the root reasons.

democrats want illegals here for several reasons. votes for one. all the people u vote for moron want them here id be willing to bet.

ketchup is made mostly out of the country since kerry outsourced heinz, but regardless, it doenst have to be unionized. nor does it take a union job to make the illegals want to come here. your solution is to make the economy as bad here as mexico since as a liberal u hate corportations and capitalism and wealth.

ofcourse the real solution is arresting illegals and building a wall and ofcourse punishing the ones that employ them. and above all electing republicans that will do these things

2. Shut down any companies that knowingly hire illegals
3. Get rid of unions

Oh, your so right!!!!! What did we ever do before we had you to pick our crops and roof our houses. I got news for you mister. We didn't always have illegals here doing our work and stealing our jobs. My grandmother wasn't even allowed to finish 3rd grade because she was needed in the fields to pick cotton and other crops. I even did it for a while just to see what my grandmother went through and let me tell you. We did it once and we can do it again. "Doing the jobs that Americans won't" is just a lie and Bush and corporate America know it.
