Mysterieux et accrocheur means 'mysterious and catchy'. It could be applied to a piece of music, for example.

Mysterieux is
astruse, cryptic, inscrutable, mysterious, mystifying.
Accrocheur is
somebody/something with advertising appeal, with a good advertisement

Mysterious & "hanging on" or "clinging to " - last one difficult because as in all languages literal translation is not always possible
