No shredded,coconut tends to get hard,what you need is the coconut milk to cook with it ands more flavor to foods.

No, to make coconut milk soak coconut in water until the water has soaked the shredded/dessicated coconut and thre water is white. Strain and squeeze coconut through cheese cloth, then use required amount in recipe. This method may not be as thick or 'milky' as canned variety however, it is the flavour of the coconut you need for recipes .

ye of course put shredded coconut in a blender with normal milk whisk it up u have coconut milk

read the ingredients on coconut cream.. definitely not what you need coconut water maybe coconut milk (read ingredients. many have guar gum) or dried coconut maybe coconut milk mixed with dried coconut

Not unless you mix it with sweetened condensed milk - say in a blender.......make sure the flakes are pureed.
