A turnout is a description of a horse pulling a cart .One might use it to say what a smart turnout he has . Heavy horse turnout is a shire horse or suffolk or one of the great big draught horses pulling a cart. You will see this description at a county show when the teams of brewers horses compete for the smartest turnout . A light horse is as the description says light meaning a riding horse not a cart horse and a light turnout is a riding type horse pulling a cart. You will see these described as private driving classes at shows ie not tradesmen

I'm pretty sure a light horse is one not used for work but more for pleasure riding and competitive events a heavy horse is more used on the farm for plowing etc.. although tractors have pretty much taken over so now they breed the two of them to get bigger jumpers i hope i helped oh one more thing the heavy horses are like the carlsburg or Budweiser horses

a light horse is a horse that does light work such as a pleasure horse, a trail riding horse & stuff like that. stuff that doesnt put to much preasure on the horse. a heavy horse is the opposite.

a heavy horse turnout is a type of blanket that you put on a horse. its used for really cold weather when a horse is going to be in the pasture!

Are you asking what blanket/rug to put on your horse? A light horse(blanket) is one used for layering or mild weather. A heavy turnout is a blanket featuring ripstop shell and very warm fiberfill, like a heavy jacket that is sturdy.here is a nice link to look at for blankets:

For your many other questions, look up Cold Blood,Warmblooded and Hotblooded horses for definitions of weight, build, types of use etc. Your question(s) are very confusing.Try asking one at a time?
