Editing DVDs?

I have just recorded all the video tapes of my children on to DVD so as not to lose them in years to come. Can you advise the best way to edit them now? What is a good editing programme. Also the best way to store them for longest life. Should I make copies of the new DVDs?

1.go to start on your computer it on the left side
2.Then go on Progarms
3.go to Accessories
4. next go to entertainment
5.then click Windows Movie Maker

use the editer that came with your computer it should be under your all programs and i saves right to your harddrive so its ready to burn
