when im in a public toilet i stand at the urinal and cannot go if someone is next to me' why is this?

Hey !, do you know you are not the only person that has this problem, I could be busting to go, and can't because of the same reason, I thought it was just me, :)
I feel as though it's embarrassing, but we all do it :)

I'm a girl and can't go if it is a small room and there's only a couple of other people in there! Even if I am absolutely desperate-it's a complete mental block! Very frustrating!

Yes I have had that problem before myself. I believe it is caused from a lack of privacy or a feeling of danger. In such cases I usually choose a stall. After all it is your option.
