yes it is but elmo sings another version which is quite cute, it goes ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXY and Z, now i know my ABC come on now and rap with me. Then he does this cute little dance move, lol

Check out the Mr. Al Cd's. They have great versions of songs. And remember don't say and Z, because in elementry school the ABC do not have no Z. It only has WXYZ. And is not a letter in the alphabet. If you start children singing it correct they will know by their school years.

Hi, I think your looking for the "pauses" so here goes! Just follow my lead - a,b,c,d,e,f,g "pause" h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p, "pause" q,r,s and t,u,v,"pause"w,x,y,and z -"now I know my ABC's next time won't you sing with me?" and/or "now I know my ABC's, next time sing along with me. or/now I now my ABC's, tell me what you think of me? - there are numerous endings, but I think you wanted more, like the "pauses" I gave you. Hope this helps, and by the way, when I was 5-years old, my mother paid me 25 cents to learn my alphabet "backwards"! and to this day, can say them faster backwards then I can forward! Try that and see how much fun it is. Start by z,y,x,and w.v.pause,u.t.s.and r.q.p.pause etc,etc!

The truth is that I don't know that there is any one standard ending to that song. I am 34 years old and I have heard many different endings. I say just go with what ever makes you comfortable.
