What is considered "evil" are acts of deliberate maliciousness. A few atheists do that, but so do many more christians (because there are many more). The difference between an "evil atheist" and an "evil christian" is that the atheist doesn't rationalize and say "I can be forgiven if I do this" or "'god' told me to do it". An atheist takes responsibility for his actions, the christian doesn't.

Conversely, when it comes to "good" acts, the same thing applies. The good atheist who helps others and gives to charity gains no benefit from the act other than a tax receipt. Meanwhile the "good" christian does it to score brownie points with "god": "IF YOU DON'T DO THIS, I'LL FRY YOUR HIDE IN HELL!" The christian has to be scared and threatened to help others, the atheist does it without personal gain.

Who is more evil? Who is more good?

Have your religion if you want it, most atheists won't care as long as you keep it a personal matter, not displaying it in public. But moreso, don't believe the hype that a particular religion makes someone "moral" when there are so many examples of the religious justifying atrocities in the name of their "god". As I have said many times:

Faith is how you treat your "god".
Morality is how you treat people.
The two are unrelated.

Will Christians go to the Big Rock Candy Mountain?

Will anyone go anywhere after they're dead keeping in mind theres no such thing as a soul?

I doubt there are a tenth as many 'evil atheists' as there are evil christians.

If there is a God, atheists must certainly be his favorites and will be exalted above all others, even in heaven. Why else would God give atheists superior intelligence, pure souls, (there are virtually no atheists in jail or prison because Atheists are more honest and decent than most people), and good looks?

If you want to find me, I will be at St. Peter’s Topless Bar & Casino partying with America’s Founding Fathers and a few dozen angel-babes - while conservative Christians will be working at Lucifer’s Laundromat washing God’s underwear.

i think only a Christian can use the word "evil" as it is explained in the Dictionary. An "Evil Athiest" is an Athiest being judged by a Christian. So, I really don't think that there is such a thing as an "Evil Athiest"

Read a book. Why is it that every Atheist based question asks about heaven, hell, worship, or some other such thing that we do not believe in? Atheist = Does not believe in what you believe in. No more questions.

Sure - just like there are evil Christians the likes of Haggard and the priests in LA who are being prosecuted for child sexual abuse...

Atheists will NOT go to heaven. Firstly, it does not exist. Secondly, if it does exist, regardless of how good a life Ive lived, your God could care less...he cares only about his own ego and demands I worship him, which I wont do. So, I wont get an invite to that party in the sky.

Of course there are, it doesn't matter what belief you hold, you can still be "evil", but never make the mistake of thinking that someone is evil BECAUSE they are an atheist.

I don't think there is real evil in the world beyond the concept , there are good deeds and bad deeds, so no no evil Atheists or evil anyone elses for that matter.

Ugh, there is no such place as heaven. You will die, your body will decompose, and be absorbed back into the earth. The End.

There are people you would not want to share a room with. Quite a few of them are "religious", and some are not.

You cannot go to heaven if it does not exist.
