Jesus was a 'Judean', not a Jew.
During His lifetime, no persons were described as "Jews" anywhere. That fact is supported by theology, history and science. When Jesus was in Judea, it was not the "homeland" of the ancestors of those who today style themselves "Jews". Their ancestors never set a foot in Judea. They existed at that time in Asia, their "homeland", and were known as Khazars. In none of the manuscripts of the original Old or New Testament was Jesus described or referred to as a "Jew". The term originated in the late eighteenth century as an abbreviation of the term Judean and refers to a resident of Judea without regard to race or religion, just as the term "Texan" signifies a person living in Texas.

The book the Jews use (Torah, Talmud) is the truth. It's just incomplete to a Christian. We believe Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ or Messiah which is predicted in the Torah.
His history and message are in the New Testament.
So, to a Christian, it takes both Testaments to make one Bible.

The OT is for the Jews, and the NT is for the Christians; these two belief systems are different, and even though Jesus followed Biblical law, his followers wanted to appeal to a large population outside of the Jewish world, and thus they declared the OT to be invalid. It is still valid for Jew, though...

Jesus was a Jew by birth of the Jewish maiden.
Jesus is Eternal God, Creator of the Universe, and the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
The Eternal God gave the Written Word: Torah, Tanakh, and New Testament.
The Eternal God was the Living Word, Jesus the Messiah, Who said "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life".
It and He does NOT say that the Tanakh is not the truth. God spoke by the Prophets, but in these last times He spoke by His Son, the last of the Prophets. In the fullness of time, God sent forth His Son.
"This is My Beloved Son, hear ye Him."

JESUS was Jewish when HE walked here on earth as a man but what are you talking about on the rest of this question? The Jews do use the Bible but most of them only use the first part of it. There will come a time when their eyes will be opened and they will understand that Yeshua died for them and that HE is the Son of GOD.

You're a total idiot. No just because Jesus was a Jew doesn't mean he was accepted by the Jewish Religion. When you get an intelligent question because you are really seeking truth, ask again. As long as you are asking because you think your mind is brilliant and your ego tells you what a profound question you are asking and your imagination tells you how people will marvel at your intelligence, forget it. It's a big universe and you are not it.

WHY DO YOU ASK BIBLE = QUESTIONS, = = having Never Read the BIBLE? ? ?
The TRUTH is the OT is Reflected in the NT and Vica-Versa!
Have you even read the OT and the Promise of the Messiah? IF you have read, what about Isaiah 53? ? ? Who did Isaiah speak about there?
JESUS CALLED THE BIBLE = TRUTH!
(John 17:17) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Perhaps this New Year, 2007 would be a good time for you to Read The Bible? ? ?
Thanks, RR

God resent the original message when the previous one was corrupted.
Jews had corrupted it through not keeping their promise of not working on Sabbath and through killing Gods messengers.
They also made use of peoples religious feelings to fuel their businesses and therefore were corrupting the populace.
God resent a warning to them with Jesus Christ, because God is very patient and will usually warn a person a couple of times before befalling them with a calamity.
But they have transgressed and God promises that the jews shall not have any land to call their own till the end of times because of their incompetence to keep their promise.
The sincere ones recognized Jesus message and submitted to Gods will.
The rest were all blinded by their own ignorance.

Christianity is the perfection of the Jewish religion. Jews use the Old Testament, which is the front half of the Bible, and Christians use both the Old and New Testaments.
