i have been where you are now, so i totally get you, and I've done things to try to deal with my pain but that just led to more. The worse part is the you really can't help it, you just have to try to pay more attention to the good things in your life and to those who hurt you just brush them off, because I've learned that they aren't even worth my time or yours.
also, mcr is a great band and i think it will actually help. For me, listening to rock music actually let me, let go of my sorrow through the music, which really helped, so just hold on...
and always know that suicide is never the answer even though it may seem to be, because i thought it was once, but now i realize life is too precious

I can kind of relate to what you're going through. It's hard to stay happy when you're being bullied or are generally not accepted. I never really fit in, and I started to be bullied back in 2nd grade for having different interests and so on. (Verbal bullying, not physical. But they'd do some nasty stuff too... I remember one time I draw all these little animals and taped them onto my desk so they stood up. The popular kids thought it'd be fun if they crushed them... I've got tons of stories like that.) Now it's kind of just evolved into a general state of unacceptance... I'm kind of just there, and nobody really talks to me other than my friends. I feel alienated, insecure, depressed, antisocial, and paranoid. =/ I cry a lot about things I regret in life, the past (when things were actually a bit better) and all of the yelling that occurs in my family. (My grades have been slipping because I get distracted my emotions, so they yell at me a lot about that)
Personally, listening to "emo music" helped me really understand what I was always upset about. There are certain times when the lyrics fit my life, and I suddenly realize "Yeah, that's what's really troubling me."
I reccomend doing this... figure out what exactly makes you upset. Try to make a list of stuff that bothers you, like the way people treat you, things you regret, school, etc. Also try and analyze your dreams. I found out what my worst fears were through my dreams, what would make me sad if it happened, who is truly important to me... it really helps. (Don't use those cheesey dream interpretation guidebooks, most of their interpretations are based on symbolism, and unless you knew what that symbolism was before you had the dream, how could it mean anything?)
Unfortunately, there's no real way to fix things like bullying, unless you move to a different school. But talking to your school's psychologist might help. I'm doing that at the moment, and it feels good to actually say whatever is wrong in life and have somebody actually listen and respond. All those things I keep bottled up can finally get out, and it's not like anybody else will hear it.
On the other hand, if you're depressed and can't figure out what makes you upset, you might have depression. Depression isn't just when you're always sad, it's when you have an actual problem with chemicals in your brain. You might want to get tested for depression. You can also do that w/ a school psychologist.
I really hope this helps, because nobody deserves to go through this kind of stuff. =(

Stay away from Doctors and their drugs. Turn off that music and get out of the house. don't allow bullies in your life. Take charge even if you have to leave.Find things you enjoy, activities that keep your mind on good things. Reading the bible has helped some people. Sports has also helped many. Some enjoy painting. Maybe you need a pet. You don't need drugs. They don't cure anything, and the side effects can be worse than the illness.

The song you listen is not the cause of your depression.. It may make things worse, but the reason you started listening to it on the first place is because you were depressed, right?
If you are being bullied, you should tell someone.. I know it´s hard but there are ways it can be stopped.. You did nothing wrong, what they´re doing to you is wrong..
I wish you´d get help.. Go to an adult you can talk to and you feel sfae with and tell what´s happening.. It´s not safe for you to feel suicidal and being alone... If there´s no one you can talk to, go to your school counselor, they usually help...
You can deal with it alone.. I was really depressed once and tried to deal with it myself.. I thought I had made it and it came back 100 times worse.. please, get help now.. everything will be ok!!!
I am here if you need anything!!! keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...

well..ive been depressed to0 ..and it was for a long while too...and yeah its the worst thing ..i dont even know how i got over it cuz i never got meds, i never told anyone, not my mom or anyone.just dont give a damn what anyone thinks about you, you are you and thats it..and if you can talk to someone about it, someone you really trust then do so. Sometimes when i get really frustrated and stuff i just scream and just get the emotions out, it really helps actually ...
i dont know what else to say, i hope you feel better and really try talking to someone you trust..and look for distractions, get out there and do something fun.

There is no single cause of depression, so when doctors and researchers are studying and hoping to find the answer to what is the cause of depression, what they have found is that there a numerous causes.
However with it;s often the environment you're in, friends and the music you listen too.

THEIR IS ALL KIND OF DEPRESSION AND ONLY A DOC CAN TELL YOU BUT NOT ALL NEED MEDS SOME NEED YOU JUST TO CHANGE THINGS IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU CAN'T DO BY YOURSELF. I WOULD STOP DOING THING YOU KNOW THAT MAKE YOU SAD. THE MOST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS MAKE YOURSELF GET UP EVERY DAY AND MAKE YOURSELF GO GET HELP BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL GET REALLY BAD AND THAT IS NOT GOOD

Depression is an illness, not necessarily a state of mind. Please go see your doctor and get a complete check up. The doctor will prescribe medications to help you.
