i went to the nurse at my school and she sent me home saying it was strep.
I then go to the doctor and they ran a strep test on me. (cutip in mouth) it came out negative. Which is weird because my thraot is red and has white streaks. My mom's thinking it's thrush, but i havent been breast feeding! lol
I've tried everything.. gargle salt water and vinegar mixed at seperately. I even gargled water with disolved asprin that was still concentrated. PLEASE HELP!

Chloraseptic might help. It temporarily numbs your throat a little.

How are you sure it's not strep? If you are having a really hard time swallowing (even swallowing your own saliva) then it very well could be a mild case of strep throat for which you'll need antibiotics because no otc or home remedy will work. Try gargling with a half a teaspoon of salt dissolved in very warm water. Also use Chloraseptic sore throat spray. It only relieves the symptoms for a very short time. Some people swear by taking 3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and mixing it with 8 oz of warm water and gargling with that also.

Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 Tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.
