Just give it time. It's going to take awhile, and there is no easy way to get over someone. It would be nice if there were, but there isn't.

Just keep yourself busy, spend time with friends and family. Get out and meet new people.

Good luck.

Its gonna be difficult no matter what you do- even though you know shes not right for you. I think it just takes time- and you have to be strong and not go back just because it "feels good". Try to hang out with friends- go out- then when other girls are interested in you... you think "her loss". You need to build up your self esteem because she just brought it way down for you. I dont know how old you are... but thats not the type of person you want in your life... and im glad you already know it. Stay strong... dont go back- because could you imagine this going on if you were married and got in an argument? Could you trust this person?? It totally sucks at the moment.... but i PROMISE you will find better. :) Try to be happy too... people are drawn to confident happy people- she is not worth your time or heartache.

Wow, i have been in that exact same situation and all I can really say is that time heals all wounds but it will hurt for some time, I actually still hurt from it and it was a year ago, but don't do what I did and keep in touch with her because seeing her make the wrong decisions in life just adds to the pain, Good luck because I know that it hurts. God bless.

Talk and flirt with other people, I just went through a similar breakup a few weeks back, and time makes things alot better, and new people, and the thought that if you liked someone that was soooo wrong, then think of how you'll love someone thats soooo right.

I don't know if there is an answer to that question. If you truly love someone I don't think you ever really get over them. It's more along the lines of making a conscious effort to decide to move on with your life.

The best way to get over an old flame is with a new one.
