Riding a stationary bike can help, but as you seem to have discovered it can be quite boring. If you don't really like bike riding then riding indoors is likely not for you. You may check out spinning courses which could add some fun and variety to your program and may help you to like what you are doing. Exercise of course can only help you if your calorie intake remains the same or is lowered. It seems like you just need to find a routine that is fun for you and that you can stick with. When you do you will progress. Good luck

Any 30-45 minute exercise each day will help you lose weight as long as you cut your calorie intake. Take a look at your intake versus your exercise and see which one you might need to do more or less of. If you are getting tired of the stationary bike then why not try a 30-45 minute walk?

It might totally depend on how much you already weigh. If you were already on the leaner side, but lacked muscle definition, you might be adding muscle and thus gaining weight because muscle weighs more than fat. You should take all of your measurements. Also go by how your clothes fit. Are they getting looser?
However, you may be compensating by eating more calories, too. Make sure you caloric intake doesn't increase.
with 30-45 mins 5 times a week, you should be making decent progress.
Good luck.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Keep this kind of meal between 400 and six hundred calories. Serve yourself a smaller portion, so if you like heading back for seconds, you'll just turn out eating a normal-size portion.

Music making you eat more. According to a survey by the journal Psychology and Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage you to definitely take time over your mealtime, so you consume more food. So, switch off – silence is likely to make you more aware of what you’re setting up your mouth.

It’s Friday brunch time and you just can’t stop going back pertaining to seconds. But hang on! Stop to get a minute and suck on extra strong mint. The flavour can put you off that next plate of chicken korma/roast beef/sushi medley.

Yes it will help with weight loss. It also depends on your caloric intake. Drop your intake a few hundred calories, nothing drastic.

Obtain smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is much easier – those diminutive helpings suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to eat less.
